For 2012 I am doing what is commonly referred to as a “365 Challenge” but as this is a leap year I’ll have to shoot 366 pictures, one for each day of the year. The goal of this challenge is to take a unique picture daily to get back into the habit of shooting regularly and to get myself thinking creatively for something different to shoot. The other goal is to post the pictures daily and I will be attempting to do that to my facebook and Google+ accounts. On this page I will post the pictures at the end of each month for those who don’t use those social media sites and I’ll put a note of summary for the month.
January’s portion. 001 to 031
This was the beginning. For the first part of the month I was preparring to lead a workshop on Macro Photography so I was trying out my gear and geting some stuff to show and demonstrate. After that it was pretty much random and I hate the cold so a lot of stuff inside. As it gets warmer there will be a lot more outside stuff and if I can get my apartment straightened out there will hopefully be some people shots. Being creative is hard y’all.
February’s portion. 032 to 060
The second month is done. A variety of stuff, mostly from my apartment. Some of these items hold fond memories of activities from my past some are to let you know what has been going on with me. On the warm days I got outside then I got really sick and stayed inside again. Then it got cold and snowy again…have I mentioned how much I despise winter? Ankles are healed up and the cold/flu is pretty much gone. Here’s to March and all of the springiness it promises.
March’s portion. 061 to 091
We’re back y’all. March was an interesting month and I got out a bit more. We had some wild temperatures getting up to the high twenties around the middle of the month. Ankle problems came back a little less brutal but still quite inconvenient. Hope there is a little more variety here for you, did some more macro stuff and started taking some shots of my film camera collection.
April’s Portion. 092 to 121
April was a busy month with the weather getting warmer, work travel and the Photo Fredericton season coming to an end. The ankle continues to improve and I’ve been getting out more to visit with the Derby folks, shooting for fun and hangin’ out with the family. Again this month a variety of shots and the stranger event has me itching to shoot more people in the coming months.
